About our field

Nogada S. A. is an olive growing company that produces extra virgin olive oil. The company has been settled in the Department of Poman, Province of Catamarca, for 20 years now.  The plantation currently comprises 479 hectares, including the varieties Arbequina, Arbosana, Barnea, Coratina, Manzanilla and Picual.

Water for drip irrigation comes from 5 wells that provide approximately 2,000,000 liters of water per hour when used simultaneously.

Harvesting is carried out completely by mechanical means, using straddle and shaker machines such as Colossus L, Jacto KTR and COE.

The use of an Amenduni press (of Italian origin), allows to produce 8,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil per hour.

Oil is stored in stainless steel tanks and nitrogen added for its adequate preservation.
